Quilting Fabric
The Fabric section from the Marketplace and the Fabric Stash from the Quilt Planner have been combined into one large stash called Quilting Fabric.
There you can use the Purchasable toggle to limit your view to only fabric that is purchasable through Quiltster.com or all fabric.
- When accessing Quilting Fabric from the Quilt Planner section, it opens with the Purchasable toggle turned OFF, displaying all fabric.
- Where to go: From the main menu click “Quilt Planner” then click “Quilting Fabric”. Next, use the Purchasable toggle on the left sidebar menu to see how the results change.
- When accessing Quilting Fabric from the Marketplace section, it opens with the Purchasable toggle turned ON, displaying only fabric that may be purchased through Quiltster.com.
- Where to go: From the main menu click “Marketplace” then click “Quilting Fabric”. Next, use the Purchasable toggle on the left sidebar menu to see how the results change.
Collection Previews
Collections are now much easier to see. Each collection is displayed as a little preview to give you an idea of the designs and color stories within the collection, making it easier and faster to search through.
Filter by Release Year
Looking for more current fabric collections is much easier to do now! Use the new Release Year filter to view collections that came out during a specific year or years.
- The Release Year is defined by the fabric manufacturer website at the time the collection is added to Quiltster.com.
- Collections released in October 2023 but shipped to shops in March 2024 (the ship date) will show up in results for Release Year 2023.
Pre-release Collections (Quilt Shops only)
Collections with a Release Year in the future (pre-release collections) can only be viewed by subscribers who are Quilt Shops or Quilting Instructors. We are no longer using the “pre-release” title for these collections as they can now be easily found using this filter.
Older collections that do not have a release year or ship date will be filed under “uncategorized”.

Filter by Ship Date
The Ship Date indicates the month and year a collection is shipped from the manufacturer to quilt shops. This means they are on the market and available for purchase out in the world!
Filter by Theme
Filter collections by the theme of the fabric. Think brights, dots, holiday, kids, nature, novelty, patriotic, plaid, swirls, seasons, solids, stripes and much much more!
