Understanding the Event Timeline for Quiltster

Quiltworx University takes place in two phases where Quiltster is concerned. Quiltworx will notify attendees by email when each phase begins.

Phase 1: Plan Your Project

During the Project Planning Phase, the Quiltworx University environment opens inside Quiltster.

This is your opportunity to:

  • Access the private event portal
  • Browse available project templates
  • Customize your project
  • Explore fabric options selected by the hosting quilt shop
  • Save multiple project ideas and colorways

No purchasing takes place during this phase. The goal is to give you time to create and refine the project you’d like to make before ordering opens.

Phase 2: Order Your Project

When Quiltworx announces the Ordering Phase, projects become available for purchase.

During this phase, you’ll:

  • Review fabric availability for your project
  • Make any necessary fabric substitutions
  • Add your project to your cart
  • Submit your order

The hosting Quilt Shop will use your ordered project to prepare your kit for the event.
