Let’s walk through how to get your free trial with Quiltster.
What is Quiltster's Role?
Here’s the easiest way to think about it:
- Quiltworx = the pattern designer (they create the patterns and created the Box Club experience)
- Quiltster = the digital tool (you use it to plan and visualize your quilt)
They work beautifully together, but they’re two separate companies.
How to Activate Your Free Trial
Your email is the key!
Whichever email address you used to purchase your Quiltworx Boxes on their site, is the one you need to use on Quiltster.com in order to trigger your free trial months.
Grab your Coupon Code, which is inside your Quiltworx Box pamphlet.
New to Quiltster? Start here.
- Sign up at quiltster.com/subscribe (Use the same email address you used to purchase your Quiltworx Boxes.)
- Enter coupon code (under Payment Method).
- Click Start My Subscription
That’s it! Your free trial starts immediately.
Already Have a Subscription? Start here.
- Log in to your account
- Go to your Account page
- Enter your coupon code in the Coupon field
That’s it! Your free trial will begin at your next renewal date.
Notes for current subscribers:
- Your emails must match (Quiltworx purchase + Quiltster account)
- Only one coupon can be active at a time
- Adding a new coupon, such as the Quiltworx Box coupon, replaces any previously active coupons on your account.

How to Check Your Free Trial
You can always see your trial details right on your Account page:
- Renewal Date & Amount (will show $0 during your trial)
- Trial Start & End Dates (under your Quiltworx coupon section)
Adding More Boxes
This is where people get confused, so here’s the simple version:
If your trial is still active:
***Do nothing
When you buy another Quiltworx Box:
- We automatically detect it (within 24 hours)
- Your trial gets extended
- No code needed
If your trial has already ended:
***Re-enter your Quiltworx Box coupon code
This restarts your free trial.
After that, additional boxes will again extend your time automatically.
What Happens When Your Free Trial Ends?
When your trial ends, your subscription continues as a paid plan:
- Monthly: $9.99 every 30 days
- Annual: $99 per year
You’ll always see your renewal details on your Account page.
***If you want to keep using Quiltster: do nothing
***If you don’t want to be charged: cancel before your renewal date
How to Cancel During a Free Trial
If you’re on a Quiltworx Box trial, you won’t see a cancel button.
***Just contact customer service and we’ll take care of it for you.
Important:
If you cancel early, any remaining free trial time is forfeited.
